🔦 Pour-over data in Smart Mode: when brewing is finished, lift off the dripper or server and the display alternates between "time / water poured" and "brew ratio / coffee dose"
🔦 Espresso data in Smart Mode: when extraction is finished, lift off the cup and the display alternates between "time / beverage weight" and "yield ratio / coffee dose"
❷ Smart Mode means fewer mistakes and smoother brewing: ordinary smart scales make you follow a strict sequence, and the slightest change stops you completing the rest of the brew or extraction (for example, swapping the dripper mid-brew or touching the scale by accident means you can't carry on), so they aren't truly smart. The upgraded Smart Mode has a built-in chip with solid/liquid detection that automatically recognises when water starts flowing during brewing or extraction, then starts the timer and measures the water poured or the beverage weight. This effectively stops the process being interrupted by an accidental touch or by swapping the dripper, server and so on
❸ Weight-sensing auto power-on for easier use: the Cube's display uses a hidden-screen design, which made finding the power button fiddly when the scale was off. So a weight-sensing power-on function has been added: with the physical switch on, placing more than 100 g on the scale for 2 seconds turns it on automatically and tares the weight, saving you the hassle for a smoother experience
