It drinks like a cup of peach oolong tea.
Delicate florals open, then ripe peach fills the cup, with a bright citrus-like acidity on the palate and an oolong-like sweetness on the finish.

One of the highest farms in Ethiopia
Ana Sora is a private estate founded only in 2013, spread over roughly 250 hectares in the Guji highlands, sitting between 1,900 and 2,350 metres — among the highest coffee farms in Ethiopia, and in the world. Cooler air at that altitude slows the cherries down, giving them longer to build sugar and flavour. The sweetness and clarity in this cup are inseparable from that.
The estate belongs to Israel Degfa, chief executive of the exporter Kerchanshe and a second-generation coffee man: his father managed a coffee mill and his mother sold coffee at the local bus station. His company puts a tenth of its annual profit back into the surrounding communities, building schools and water supply. Several well-known European roasters have worked with Ana Sora for close to a decade.
