HARIO · ALPHA DRIPPER · OLD ROCK CLAY 01

The familiar V60 opening, now in old rock clay.

The HARIO Alpha Dripper 01 pairs old rock clay by Taiwanese ceramics studio Lu Yu Tea Culture (陶作坊) with a new rib design. It keeps the same opening as the V60, so V60 users can pick it up straight away while trying a new material and rib structure.

A new rib design for a close fit and easy airflow

24 long and short concave ribs

HARIO tuned the depth of the 24 concave ribs through repeated testing, so the paper sits close to the wall while air still escapes smoothly and the bed is less likely to clog.

Same opening as the V60

The base uses the same opening design as the V60, so your usual recipe and pouring habits carry straight over.

Old rock clay, made in Taiwan

It has a matte clay exterior with a glazed interior and base, in tones that vary from piece to piece. It comes in its own gift box and works for your own bar or as a gift.

Is it for you?

It suits V60 users who want to try a different rib structure and material, and anyone looking for a well-crafted 1–2 cup dripper. Start with your usual ratio and grind, then adjust by drawdown.

FAQ

How is it different from a V60?

The opening is the same as the V60. The difference is the 24 concave ribs and the old rock clay body, which change both the feel and the look.

Which filters does it take?

As a size 01 cone dripper, it generally takes 01 cone filters. If you're unsure, WhatsApp us before ordering.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Each piece is fired, so colour and texture vary slightly. This is normal.

Before you buy
