An Evolved Dripper for Better Flavour
The third-generation Star Dripper "Hayabusa" now comes in white porcelain. Made with a specialist kiln in Arita, Saga Prefecture, Japan, from carefully selected high-grade Amakusa pottery stone clay fired at high temperatures, it is a pure, hard, thin-bodied porcelain dripper. This premium material not only looks and feels elegant but also retains heat superbly, for a more stable extraction with richer layers and flavour that redefine what a great cup of coffee can be.
A Refined Structure for More Precise Extraction
The Hayabusa M1 has 32 guiding ribs (16 long and 16 short). The sharp, well-defined ribs hold the filter paper snugly while channelling the flow smoothly. Its overall flow rate and control sit between the first and second generations, perfectly balancing extraction efficiency and flavour.
Both the outlet and the interior space have been enlarged so the grounds heat evenly and the flow stays steady during extraction, improving sweetness, aroma, complexity, balance and clarity, with a long finish and a full body.
