TOUGH · C40 Upgrade Accessories

Stainless Steel Knob · Stainless Steel Dosing Cup

Mirror-polished stainless steel upgrade accessories made for the Comandante C40. The knob replaces the stock wooden bead with a weighted metal one for more rotational momentum; the dosing cup swaps glass for stainless steel, so there's no worry about drops and you can take it out with peace of mind. Buy either one on its own, or swap both at once.

Two Accessories, Two Problems Solved

Handle Knob · Weighted Metal for Smoother Turning

The stock wooden bead is light, so keeping a steady rhythm relies on your hand. With a solid stainless steel knob, the extra weight at the end of the crank adds rotational momentum, making it easier to hold a steady speed when grinding hard or light-roast beans, and your wrist does less work.

Dosing Cup · No More Fear of Breakage

The stock glass cup feels lovely, but it's at risk when you're travelling, camping or keeping it at the office. The stainless steel cup stands up to drops and knocks, so you can use it and carry it every day with far more peace of mind.

Mirror Polish · All-Metal Finish

Both accessories are mirror-polished and blend naturally with the C40's original body. Metal is also less prone to static build-up than a plastic dosing cup, so less retention when you tip out the grounds.

Which Version Should You Choose?

Version	Best For
Single · Handle Knob	You find grinding takes effort and want smoother turning; you like the stock glass cup and don't want to replace it
Single · Dosing Cup	You often take your C40 out, travel or go camping; or you've already broken the glass cup
Set · Both Pieces	You want to swap both at once for a matching look, and it's better value than buying them separately

FAQ

Is this an original Comandante product?

No. This is a third-party upgrade accessory designed by TOUGH for the C40, not a genuine Comandante part. Fitting aftermarket accessories may affect the manufacturer's warranty, so please weigh this up for yourself.

Is it hard to install?

Not at all. The knob simply replaces the wooden bead at the end of the crank handle, and the dosing cup screws onto the grinder using the original thread. No tools needed, and no modifications to the grinder.

Will it make the grinder much heavier?

It is heavier than the stock wooden bead, but that weight is exactly the point: concentrated at the end of the crank, it adds momentum as you turn, so grinding actually takes less effort. If you prefer to travel ultralight, weigh this up first.

How do I clean them?

The dosing cup can be rinsed with water; dry it thoroughly afterwards. For the knob, a wipe with a dry cloth is all it needs day to day; keep hard objects away from the mirror-polished surface to avoid scratches.

Before You Buy

These accessories are made for the Comandante C40. The C40 comes in several versions, so please check which model you have before ordering. If you're unsure, WhatsApp us with your model or a photo and we'll confirm it for you.
