The Kalita MI155/185 "Mino-yaki" Filter Cup is a unique and sophisticated coffee brewing appliance that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The following are the main features of this product:
## Historic Mino-Yaki
## Mino-yaki has a long history of 1300 years, originating from Tono, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, one of the largest producers of pottery in Japan. MI filters are made in Dachi, Toki City, Tono, and each filter is proudly engraved with the DACHI brand logo on the bottom of the filter.
## Unique glazed surface
## This is the first filter cup made by DACHI.
This filter is glazed with kiln-change glaze, which produces color changes during the kiln firing process, giving each filter a unique hue. The main body of the cup is glazed to give it a smooth, soft luster, while the bottom and other edges retain the original unglazed texture, revealing a matte earthenware texture.
## Warm texture
The warm, earthy tones and comfortable feel of the MI filter cup make it a delightful Japanese-made filter cup.
## Excellent
## Excellent brewing performance
As part of the Kalita Wave series, the MI filter cup maintains the stable and repeatable brewing performance of the series. Its unique flat-bottomed design and carefully positioned holes help to control the water flow and extract the full flavor of the coffee.
## Stronger flavors
## Compared to the standard Kalita Wave, the holes in the MI filter cup are slightly larger by 2mm, a design that results in a stronger and more aromatic brewed coffee.
