Jacky Lai Champion Selection Ethiopia Guji Natural
Rich blueberry jam and Kyoho grape, with layer after layer in the cup.
Blueberry jam and Kyoho grape lead with full sweetness, followed by soft, ripe peach. Bergamot brightens the mid-palate, and frangipani and rose florals round out a complex cup. If you love jammy sweetness with plenty of florals, this one will surprise you.
Guji Heirloom × Natural
In natural processing, the whole coffee cherry is dried with its fruit intact before the beans are hulled. During drying, sugars and aromatics from the fruit carry into the beans, giving deeper fruit and richer sweetness, like the blueberry jam and grape notes here. Ethiopian heirloom coffees are known for their florals, so this natural lot brings jammy sweetness and florals together.
This coffee is part of the Jacky Lai Champion Selection. Jacky Lai won the 2014 World Coffee Roasting Championship and runs Oh! Café in Taiwan.
