Kalita MI155/185 Mino-yaki Dripper is a top-quality hand-brewed filter cup that combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern coffee culture. Crafted with the 1,300-year-old Mino ware ceramic technique, this product is produced in DACHI Town, Toki City, Higashi-Nuo region, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Each filter cup is engraved with the brand logo at the bottom to ensure authentic Japanese manufacturing quality.
This Gloss Series bright brown filter cup adopts a unique kiln-changing glaze technology. During the high-temperature kiln firing process, it generates natural tone changes, making each filter cup present a unique warm luster. The main body of the filter cup has been meticulously glazed, presenting a smooth and soft texture, while the bottom edge retains the original unglazed pottery texture, showcasing a matte finish and the warmth of handcrafting.
As an evolved version of the Kalita Wave series, the MI155/185 filter cup retains the classic design of the flat cake filter cup. Combined with the three-hole extraction system, it provides stable and repeatable brewing performance. Compared with the standard Kalita Wave, the bottom hole diameter of the MI filter cup is increased by 2 millimeters, which enables the coffee extraction flow rate to be faster, and the brewed coffee has a more intense and fragrant flavor with richer layers. Ceramic material has excellent heat preservation performance, reducing temperature loss during the brewing process and ensuring stable extraction.
Two size options are available: MI155 is suitable for 1-2 servings, and MI185 is suitable for 2-4 servings. Whether it's premium single-origin coffee or daily brewing, it can be easily handled, providing coffee lovers with a professional-level hand-brewing experience.
