Ethiopia Guji Bukuabel Hanakui
Rose florals open the cup, followed by a burst of passion fruit.
Rose and passion fruit lead, backed by layered tropical fruit sweetness. Strawberry jam builds in the middle, and it finishes with a clean black tea note. If you enjoy coffees that balance florals and fruit with a crisp finish, this one is well worth a try.
Ethiopian Heirloom × Natural
In natural processing, the whole coffee cherry is dried with its fruit intact before the beans are hulled. During drying, sugars and aromatics from the fruit carry into the beans, giving fuller fruit and deeper sweetness, like the tropical fruit and jammy notes here. Ethiopian heirloom coffees are known for their florals, and natural processing adds fruit to that, giving a cup that is both floral and fruity.
The Bukuabel (Buku Abel) station is in Hambela, in the Guji zone of Ethiopia's Oromia region. It collects cherries grown by local smallholders, then sorts and processes them on site.
